The World War 3 Option

WASHINGTON (the East-West Writer) - Total victory over Russia and China is so close, and if the USA and its EU minions want to finish the job, they have to do it promptly. Or else Russia and China will have time to prepare, which would result into unnecessary stress.

Militarily, economically, and politically, the West can only win. What can Russia or China do? Nothing. Nothing but attacking those US bases in neighboring countries from which the West will strike, which then will drag into war those neighboring countries. Russia and China will look like the ultimate war criminals.

Now, let us go quickly over the benefits of the Final World War:

Peace is the greatest benefit of war. With no enemy left, it's going to be a world without war [at least, until some alien race arrives]. The loss of a few hundreds of millions of lives is a small price to pay for Western banking, finance, and governance taking over Asia.

For the Russians and Chinese in particular loss of war will be most beneficial since they are going to join the victorious West. They will no longer be the losers of world history, and enjoy all the benefits of Western membership. A lot of their diaspora in the West already do, and it is fantastic!

Globalism is another great benefit. We have seen Africa and the Middle East enslaved, and the West profited immensely. Yes, progress is painful. For those who can't keep up. Western imperialism and colonialism were highly profitable. War is always profitable. The media and the military complex profit the most. But so do scholarship, philosophy, and the arts... which all rise in productivity. It is useless to protest against war, if war is what everyone wants.

War is like the great cleansing to build a better world. The USA is the ultimate war-machine. After each war came better technologies, better theories, better humans. War is the ultimate creativity. [That's why we glorify war in film, literature, and games.]

Russia and China are completely helpless in this. If they resist Western world domination, they will be called terrorists. Just like the Middle East, which now lies in tatters. Just like Germany and Japan before, which are now US colonies, and rich and happy. All Washington needs is Russia or China or both to "start" this final war, so that the West can happily "retaliate" and take out those regimes. Imagine the loot and spoil for US companies. Incredible!

Some commentators argue that World War 3 would bring about the extinction of the human race. What a nonsense! Do you really think that the Russians and Chinese in an act of desperation would nuke the entire planet? That would not only proof the need to take them out before they do, but also show that they are a future liability to the human race.

Other commentators argue for endless sanctions, propaganda, and containment. A slow death for Russia and China. How cruel. Eventually, their own people would hate their leaders and overthrow their governments. All the West has to do is to support the resistance. 

Fair enough, but where is the great cleansing? The great progress in this? Where the glory?

To wrap this up, World War 3 is inevitable. The Western elites want it, they are just figuring out how to do it best. It does not need to happen with nukes, but it would be reasonable to have it happen decisively.

A nation sees its public morals dwindling:

ZHAOYUAN – Six people, four of them related, have been arrested for assaulting and killing a 37-years old woman at a McDonald's in China, Shandong Province, on May 29th.

As of May 30th, little details are known,* and there are conflicting reports (some say the woman was in her 20s; and that she “spurned his advances”) about the perpetrators (allegedly members of a Christian cult). A quarrel insured. The victim is said to have refused to give her phone number. What is undisputed, however, is the crime itself which was video-recorded. In addition, images from what looks like a security camera footage were broadcast on the province's TV.

Net citizens (China has over 600 million internet users) were outraged at what presents itself as yet another instance of complete moral failure of this pseudo-harmonious nation: The McDonald's was apparently jammed with customers and staff workers who either quickly left the scene, stood by and watched, or (helpful for police and investigators -it needs to be said), even filmed the gory incident: YOU WILL BE ASKED TO VERIFY YOUR AGE FOR THIS VIDEO FOOTAGE:

Some commentators searched China's soul to blame -they quickly compared it to the case of Yue Yue, a two-years old Chinese girl that a few years ago was run over by two cars in daylight and in a busy place and left to die by at least 18 passers-by.

“Why is nobody helping this poor woman?!” Someone posted, angrily. In addition to the exceptional barbarity of the murder, the case is likely to stir up the debate about widespread violence against women.
Finally, the incident happened at a time when a spell of killing rampages and mass stabbings at train stations and public spaces (often in open daylight) has gripped the nation's psyche, leaving ordinary citizens indeed fearful of meeting with random meaningless death.

To show some leniency for the frightened observers (and staff members) in the video: The action escalated rather quick, and savagely, and after just 2 minutes or so, and after a bullish thug bashed the victim’s skull with what looks like an iron bar, the woman died on the spot. Having said that, in the end it all feels like some form of collective failure to render any assistance to that poor lady.

Chinese society may be harmonious and peaceful and all; but have them watch a stranger suffer pain and injustice… Holy Laozi, you can hear the callousness crackling.

This event will long been used by the sages of PKU to boost their prestige in the world, as Wang Enge, the current president of PKU (also known as 'Beida' in China) and other leaders have invested greatest efforts in attracting some of the most visible and renowned speakers (from world leaders to economists, professors, and celebrities) of all walks of life to hold lecturers here. The speaker's fee of Ms Obama was not disclosed (if there was any) -but it isn't uncommon that (instead of cash) valuable gifts or favors are presented. President Wang Enge allegedly offered admission of Ms Obama's two daughters to Peking University should they decide to study in China in the future.

Peking University recently crashed down on democrats and dissident voices, fulminating into the dismissal of Xia Yeliang -an outspoken critic against corruption in China's academia.

COMPARING CHINA AND THE WEST:

Bringing the Disciplines Together

The International Association for Comparative Study of China and the West (IACSCW) invites proposals for presentations at its conferenceto be held in Beijingat Peking University from 12 to14 July 2013.

Its primary purpose is to bring together from all over the world individuals and organizations with an ongoing interest in comparing Chinaand the West.

Our title opens broadly to include cultural comparisons involving one or many disciplines. In particular, we want to bring together researchers with practitioners in the interest of developing new approaches to comparative studies in teaching, theory, analysis, and cultural production. Proposals for presentations are welcome from researchers in any area involving China and the West, whether academic, governmental, or corporate.

The plenary speakers will be internationally prominent scholars working on comparative issues in philosophy, translation, history, literature and other modes of cultural production. They include Professors Tang Yijie (PKU), Tu Weiming(Harvard/PKU), Jean Bessiere (Paris III), Roger T. Ames (Hawaii), Henry Rosemont, Jr. (Brown), and Daniel A. Bell (Tsinghua & Jiaotong).

The languages of the Association are English and Chinese. It is expected that English will be used for most conference presentations, with simultaneous interpretation provided for plenary addresses. Some panels, by prior arrangement, may take place in Chinese.

Proposals are welcome from individuals (300 words maximum) or panels involving at least three presenters (around 700 words, identifying the proposed Chairperson). Proposals must include an English version but may also include Chinese. Proposals should be submitted by using the application form from the conference website under

www.chinaandthewest.org

The relevant form can be found under Conference > Application. After filling out this two-page form using the free Adobe Reader, please email it to the organizers using the envelope icon or print and then scan to a digital copy to submit by emailto conf2013@chinaandthewest.org

The provisional deadline for submissions has been extended to 30 January 2013.Proposals received after that date cannot be assured of equal treatment. Participants whose proposals are accepted will be expected to join the Association as full members as part of conference registration. The organizers intend to issue their response by late February 2013. Those who are invited to present will be notified in timely fashion of recommended hotel accommodations so that they may make their own bookings and travel arrangements.

The conference expects to charge a registration fee to cover meals and activities. In order to keep the amount modest, the Association is seeking subsidies. Hence the figure cannot be announced until closer to the conference dates.

Excellent papers presented at the conference will be selected for submission to some European Journals which are indexed by Scopus, SCI or EI. Also the Association will invite conference papers to be submitted for consideration for its own journal: COMPARATIVE STUDIES OF CHINA AND THE WEST, whose first issue is to be distributed at the conference.
